Description
The Pro 3 Kids vest is a special order and boasts the same design and protective features of the adult vest. Boasting larger airbags, ensures top-tier protection for riders of all disciplines. The back of the key box has airbag for even more shock absorption capabilities. Additionally, the multiple layers construction gives these models extra durability and over all added protection. Get the assurance you are looking for so you can ride with confidence and peace of mind! The Pro 3 Kids gives parents peace of mind.
These super-light weight vest are so comfortable, they will not even noticed. Let them trot alone for the first time with confidence or watch them enter big ring, settled your nerves knowing they are confident wearing Hit-Air.
The
new Hit Air Pro 3, like the Pro, has larger airbags than the original Hit-Air vest and the airbags deploy just as
fast as the Hit-Air Original to enable the airbag to fully inflate before you hit the ground. Like all the Hit Air vests, our vests inflate outwards and not inward, so make sure that you dont wear restrictive clothing outside the airvest. The airbags are concealed and will automatically pop out of the snapped enclosures, thus minimizing the length of the vest while you are riding. The vest is more like a tubular harness, minimizing weight and allowing maximum airflow. Since a strong activation force is required, riders should weigh at least 100 pounds unless using a kids vest. This also means that you are less likely to inadvertantly activate the vest. The airbag
is placed next to your body at the back of the key box to strengthen its shock buffering
function. Additional shock absorbing padding has been added to the Pro 3 on either side of the chest and
spine airbags for added strength and protection. The Pro 3 is CE NF
S72-800:2022 certified. Optional back pads can also be added that just Velcro in place for easy removal, as well as side and chest protectors.
CE Certified Equestrian Airbag Vest
CE NF S72-800:2022 Certified, the first and only equestrian certification for air bag vests! See terms and condition at bottom. The Hit-Air wearable air vest does not require an additional safety vest however with proper sizing, can accommodate mandates that might be required while participating is certain equestrian activities.
The MLV3-H offers a greater range of protection due to the large volume of the airbag. Once activated, the buttons automatically open by air pressure and the airbag inflates to a large size. The harness-style design allows for a wide range of compatible sizes and the waist belt allows for size adjustment. It can be worn all year round, over both spring/summer and winter jackets (optional buckle extenders are available under Accessories).
The PRO models are more focused on the ribs and tailbone, as tthe PRO and MLV models have a single but large drop down airbag that comes down further in the rear. This model has a large single drop-down rear airbag and larger rib bag than the Advantage/H-Model.
All vests include the proper sized CO2, all-in-one adjustable bungee
lanyard/English saddle strap combo, tool kit for changing CO2 canister,
and Custom Hit-Air Hanger for proper storage of your vest. Note that
this all-in-one combo English saddle strap/bungee lanyard is only for
English style saddles that can attach to the stirrup bars under
the fenders. Non English style saddles will require you to order the optional lanyard type of your preference and possibly an optional saddle strap (e.g. Night Latch). We recommend for non English style saddles attaching your choice of lanyards to the pommel using either a Night Latch (see Accessories) or a strong nylon dog collar. We generally don't recommend attaching to a horn or D ring as the lanyard could be pulled off the horn or break the ring. Yes, you could secure the lanyard over the horn and back under the pommel, but this could cause the lanyard to be too short, resulting in an increased risk of premature deployment. We also recommend unbuckling all buckles before dismounting to avoid scratching your saddle or getting hung up on your saddle. Note: that our manufacturing representative recommends the short bungee for horses under 15 hands, but at least 13 hands, that vests be inspected/serviced annually and replaced after 5 years. Our importer will only service vests under 5 years of age.
